The DOL has updated its poster to clarify the paid leave entitlements section of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act. The corrected poster now reads “up to 12 weeks of paid leave.”  The prior language had 10 weeks.

Employers should immediately post THIS VERSION in a conspicuous spot in the workplace such as an employee break room. If the majority of employees are presently working remotely, employers should distribute this notice by email to all current employees and all new hires.  The notice need not be distributed to any employees who have been furloughed or terminated.  Employees furloughed or terminated prior to April 1, 2020, the effective date of this Act, are not eligible for these leaves.
